Interests

Life is more about people than interests but its always fun to share your interests with others..

Critical Thinking Pseudoscience is still very pervasive in today's society. It's amazing how many intelligent people fall for it. I admit that I used to be one of them. Skepticism is sometimes thought of in a negative light. The reality is it's just requiring  evidence to back up what people are claiming. Skeptiod, Skepticblog, Michael Shermer, James Randi, Center For Inquiry, Celebration Of Reason and Real Truth For Americans.

Science I Enjoy keeping up on the latest in evolution and astrophysics. A couple of evolutionary biologists that I follow are Richard Dawkins, Jerry Coyne and Sean B. Carroll. I enjoy watching Michio Kaku and Neil deGrasse Tyson two physicists that have become popular with many tv programs and documentaries. The Science Daily website is a great source of scientific articles on just about any subject you could think of.

Powered Paragliding For me there is nothing as exciting as running into the air and seeing the world from another perspective. Check out FootFlyer.com, USPPA.org and PPGTruth.com.

Traveling The Enterprise has become my winter home. I love traveling to new areas of the country. It can be a tourist place or simply a scenic area. Wherever we park it becomes our backyard. There is something about driving this 27ft vehicle I really like. Check out the Trip Log.

Coin Collecting There's something about having an artifact frozen in time like these dated pieces. My collection is not incredibly valuable but it's sure quite interesting. US Mint

Excellence It is my good fortune to enjoy what I do for work. Accomplishing is fun, as is the process of achieving. It's not even just to get more "things"...the trip itself is a worthwhile journey. Wendy's Arby's Group

Genealogy We all have a mom and a dad (at least so far) - it's interesting to see what history produced me. I put a lot of time into researching and putting this together. Most of it was through internet research. The others came from visiting cemeteries and first hand family knowledge. My Family Tree
